Originality of manuscript

Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract, a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The publication must be approved by all authors.

Plagiarism is a serious academic misconduct and all forms of plagiarism will be assessed, including self-plagiarism. All manuscript submitted to IJTHPE will be checked for similarity upon initial submission by using plagiarism checker software and the similarity index should not exceed 25%. This policy is set up to main academic integrity and credibility of the manuscript. Manuscript exceeded the similarity of 25% will be returned to the authors to address the issues.

Research Ethics

All research studies including human subject must have been conducted in accordance with the “Declaration of Helsinki”. The ethical approval must have been granted for the research proposal form the Institutional Review Board (IRB) or other appropriate ethics committee. The ethics approval number, provided organization, and approval time must be explicitly stated in the manuscript.

Consent

For all research studies including human subject, must obtain informed written consent from the study respondents/ participants prior to the commence of study. If online data collection is conducted, a full explanation must be included about obtaining online informed consent from the study participants. If only verbal informed consent is obtained, the explanation must be included in the manuscript.

Consent for children, adolescent and vulnerable population must be obtained from the parent or guardian who are able to provide informed consent. Age of legal adulthood shall be defined according to the criteria set up in the country where the study was conducted.

 If the retrospective or secondary data from databases/ repository/ institution was utilized in the study, the authors must confirm that ethical approval was obtained to use the data and to conduct the study. This statement must be explicitly described in the manuscript.

Copyright

The authors have the responsibility to obtain permissions for reproducing and including any copyright materials in the manuscript. The copy right permission must be submitted together with the manuscript if applicable.

In IJTHPE, the copyright of the manuscript will be transferred to the journal to enable us to manage and publish the manuscript. The authors must grant to IJTHPE to manage, produce, publicly display, and publish the manuscript. The authors must authorize third party users to download and print out electronic copies of the digital form of the article for their personal or institutional use (for non-commercial utilization). 

Publication Ethics

  • Authors should discuss authorship when planning research, agree authorship in writing, and revisit the agreement through stages of the research.
  • Each author contribution for research project should be clearly described.
  • Authors must review and approve the final submission of the manuscript.
  • Authors should sign and submit the author declaration form.
  • Conflict of interest must be clearly stated (if applicable).
